I had originally thought of buying a 003R and getting some extra preamps for it, such as a digimax fs or fmr rnp. iv been wanting to get back into pro tools but that way is kinda expensive. so i was thinking of a profire from m-audio. i noticed m-powered is pretty much the same as le, just with out the music production tool kit. so i thought id save close to 1000Euro and go with the fire pro. one thing i didnt notice is that there is no S/PDIF on profire, but it says on the site there is. if anyone knows can they please explain how it works with the fire pro?

also what are ye're opinions on the profire compared to the 003.
