The EMX5000 is a live "PA" board, with the power amps built-in. This is usually not conducive to quality recording, mainly due to noise issues, but, yeah, you can record off of it.
"CD burner"? I hope that you are referring to a standalone CD recorder, with RCA-type ANALOG line level inputs. A simple CD burner with only computer connections will not accept an analog audio signal. But you already knew that, didn't you?
To record off the board, just locate the stereo "Line Outputs" on it
and feed a signal from those to the CD recorder Line Ins. Watch your levels...the board can potentially overdrive the recorders' inputs. You should consult the owners manual of the board to get the connectivity details.

NEVE? I DON'T NEED NO STINKIN' NEVE!!!!
