hi.. fairly new to mixing and mastering. Check out my mix and let me know what I can improve on. FYI, artist brought a YouTube beat to the session and didn't have wav files so it was a little hard for me to get all vox takes to sit in the mix so I fear it'll be either to loud or to soft compared to the beat. regardless let me know! Which do you think is better for audio card INPUTS (not outputs):

1/4" TRS and TS
or
SPDIF (coax digital)

1. The balanced input jack on the audio card is rated at being 104 to around 107 dBA SNR.

2. We all know the SPDIF input is basically digital 1's and 0's.

So tired of Windows... And Apple OS has suffered a decline...

Why hasn't a company come out with a DAW that IS the OS?

I use my computer for one thing and one thing only... Make awesome music. No net, email or anything else.

It bugs me that there is so much extra unused stuff on the thing that is just taking up space.

I have a valued client that is mandating I use mp3s to "remaster" CDs for replication. Those new production CDs are then converted back to mp3s for posting on their website. I need more info to convince them this is a BAD idea. Suggestions? Links to professional data on the web? Personal experience? Thanks!
