This young man is amazing.

I recently bought a second-hand KRK Rokit 5 g2 and a Yorkville YSM2p. Overall, they sound really good but also a bit different. Is there anything I can do to make two different monitors sound ""the same"" or better than they are right now.

Curious whether anyone has experience with this pickup/preamp combo. I spoke with the Breedlove tech dept, and they told me it is an under saddle piezo film (not crystals). They said it gives a much better linear response compared with older style pickups.

Wife and I went shopping on Monday. Just looking for a dining suite small enough to fit the terrace house we are renting. I walked in after she found one in a charity shop. In front of me was this!.



Lovely 1901 upright from Berlin, well kept too. Does need to be tuned up a tone and a bit.

Hey all, I'm digitizing my CD collection in the next month or so. (edit technically it already is digital but, u get what I mean) This is so I can have acesso to it from anywhere, as CD players are more and more rare. Since this is archival, I want as close to an exact copy of the CD as possible, ripped inTo the computer. They have usb CD burners on Amazon for like $20.

I currently have a Alesis VI49 it has 12 knobs at the top which I have mapped, first set of 6 controls tracks 1-6 volume & and second set of 6 controls tracks one 1-6 pan.

I subscribe to some channels on YouTube and KCRW broadcast studio posted this video a little while ago. I think the effect is possible with most web browsers(Firefox), not Safari though. I was talking to a musician the other day, of which I mentioned I've started recording classical/acoustic music, and he's interested in having me eventually record some of his band's tracks. I told him I haven't recorded anything electric yet but wanted to start and I'll probably get together with them over the course of the next several weeks and couple of months.
