Changing tubes on UA LA-610 - worth it ?

This video shows the process of changing tubes and comparing the before and after sound. I've did the mistake of recording with low gain to get the cleanest sound possible, before and after.. but it seems the sound is very similar but gets different with higher gain settings.. Anyway I hope it will be of interest to you nonetheless !

Let me know what you think !

USB, AES/EBU,HDMI together?

I need to run at least 2 boosted USB, 2- 8Channel AES and a DVI-D (or possibly an HDMI instead) cables together in about 30-35' of PVC.

Will this create issues like crosstalk, inductance, speed reduction, clicks, clocking issues, bandwidth reduction, RF and other things I may not be aware of?

USB: 1. Houston Controller to/fro MAC
2. Pure 2 ADDA to/fro PC

Monitoring Overdubs and Choice of Audio Interface

I am getting ready to buy my first audio interface. With no digital recording experience, I need some advice on monitoring overdubs. I had been looking at the Focusrite Clarett 2Pre Thunderbolt audio interface (connected to my HP Spectre x360 with Thunderbolt 3) because it has especially low latency in hopes that I would be able to monitor my live overdub tracks via the DAW.

Issues with recording my piano

I'm a guitar player and recently got into piano. I got a Yamaha P-45 and, since I record instrumental tracks with guitar and bass, I tried to record my piano, but I ran into some issues. First I tried connecting my piano to my guitar amp which with my guitar cable and was able to record it (obviously the sound wasn't great as it's a guitar amp and not meant for any other instruments).

Anyone tested or used the Aston Microphones Spirit yet?

Maybe I'm in the market for a new mic, and a friend of mine just bought two Aston Origins. These seem to slightly differ from the spirit ones. Logical, it's a different beast. Anyway these sound good as I know now, but how do you guys feel about the Spirit? Is it worth the money? I have a RODE Nt1a right now, but am not to happy about it - to harsh. To much aggregated highs.
