I recently purchased a brand new Numark Mixdeck Express midi controller. I connected it the other night at a gig to my QSC K12 speakers using XLR cables. On the rear of the controller are 3 XLR outputs that say BALANCED. I connected regular XLR cables (microphone cable) and ran it to the left and right speakers separately. I then tried to power up the speakers and they would not turn on.

Hi,
If I wanna Recording or Mixing with some Outboard Gears (external hardware), but I only have 2 outputs on the audio interface, this means it doesn't work? I must at least have an audio interface with 4 outputs?

PreSonus CTC-1 Pro Console Shaper Adds the Sound of Classic Consoles to Studio One

I owned this reel-to-reel machine from when I purchased it new years ago. I want to restore it.
One issue I'm having is when playing back recordings I'm not getting audio out of track one. The VU meter shows audio is present. Other tracks are fine.
If anyone can provide some tips to for finding the root cause of failure that would be appreciated.

Reworked the drums ...

Added a bunch of new parts ... etc ...

I'd accidentally rolled off a ton of low end in the original mix on the 2 buss ... and wondered why it sounded so different than the other mixes lol ...

Big ol' "whoops" when I went back to fix it. :D
