Which do you folks prefer? I just learned about this alternative to bounce to disk recently. Which one sound better?

ok, so I'm thinking bout getting a little Neve 5432 sidecar with 8 channels of 34128 pre's.
anyone have any extensive experience with these sidecars? or do you have any specific insights on the 34128 pre itself? right off the bat I know I will have to get an ELCO multi-pin cable made in order to get direct outs on each channel.

I asked a friend to describe Melodyne a new stand-alone audio manipulation software... He has a demo at home and saw it being demontrated at the Musik Messe in Frankfurt last weekend... Chris is from Belgium and has perfect English (of course!)

This is really weird, but for some reason I have lost sound playback on one of my Cubase projects. All of the other ones play back just fine, but this particular one is frustrating the heck out of me. (It is the RO remix project). This thing used to play back fine when I first imported all the files...now...nothing!

Well it was a great trip I had to Austin Texas what a cool place I enjoyed the SXSW festival (March 13th - 18th) and will return again if I ever get the chance.

But just out of curiosity, do you think they will ever offer their flagship product for the PC, if not, Why not?

they make consoles, and were/are based in the UK (supposedly) -- any body? I've spotted one that may be useful, and need some info on whether the built in pre's are up to snuff, and any other tidbits you know.

Ok today I got a hold of two Avalon 737 mic preamps processors on a great bargin, question is with my delta 1010, soundcraft m12 mixer, good mics and Cubase and nuendo will I be able to get pro results with the equipment I have. Or will I have to dump the delta 1010. thanks
