analog transfers between uncoupled DAW's

Okay... so, I've got a decent second audio I/O for several days... a friend of mine is letting me use his Focusrite I/O while he's on vacation, so I thought I'd try mixing to a separate DAW.

Questions...

There will be no external analog summing involved, hi voltage or otherwise. So, without this step, should I even bother with mixing to a secondary DAW?

Why does the track sound different after bounce

I was gonna ask you guys if the drums on this track sound as if they sit in a
believable space . I tracked the cymbals first then the snare/tom on its own track.
I bounced the track and noticed the bass just took off,way more than when it was in the session.
Why is this so,and do you have the same issue after bouncing, if you do bounce ?

What can you do in Pro Tools that you cannot in REAPER?

I've been using Reaper for years, and every now & then people attempt to brag that they use "Pro Tools", but I have yet to hear what is so significant about Pro Tools over a DAW like Reaper.

Reaper is capable of everything that I need and much more that I don't need.
(Now some might wonder what my use of a DAW is, but that is aside from my question ;) )

Super Small Mixing Room 2,9m x 2,1m x 2,59m - advice needed

Hello there,
It's my first post here but I've been around for couple of weeks now just reading and gaining knowledge from this great forum as well as other places and books I found.
I'm planning to move my composers workshop to a dedicated room which is rectangular and very small (2,59mH x 2,1mW x 2,9mL = 8ft 6in H x 6ft 10ft W x 9ft 6in L). All plastered concrete.
