i am planing on buying a MindPrint EN-VOICE MK II tube recording preamp to record hip hop and r&b vocals. i am using a CAD E200 Equitek Series Dual Single Diaphragm Condenser Microphone. is this a good pramp to get for hip hop and r&b vocals? i will be using it with a Tascam fw-1804 audio interface.

We have a female singing into a Sennheiser wireless headset. The dynamic range is just too much to be on a stationary mic attached to her head.

This is a rock band and has a pretty loud sound. She has some soul on some songs and some songs she sings more backup. Very dynamic range.

It looks like a new valve preamp that uses a proper valve circuit and not the gimmick valve thing! It also costs around £75! Looks very interesting and might try this one out?

I need a pre 2 channel and I do not decide between A Designs Audio Pacifica and Vintech model 273.
Also I have been watching Daking Mic Pre IV or spend a little more and buy the Vintech model 473 or API 3124+ or Focusrite RED1
I need suggestions from those who have tested

I am giving myself a Christmas gift rather than sending the $$ to Uncle Sam in April. I can really use a good/ great 8 channel mic preamp to augment what I bring onsite currently. I only have room for one rackspace, though.

I am looking to add 4-8 mic preamps to my studio and need something with a A/D conversion to connect to my Ensemble via the ADAT/SMUX input. Is there anything good out there that can send 8 channels at 96khz via SMUX? Or is 4 channels the max you can get at that rate in that format?

and the preamp is RNP.. dont have the money to buy about 1000dollar..

It's finally time that I invest in a proper mic preamp. I have less than $500 to spend, the cheaper the better but I won't skimp if I don't have to. I only need 1 or 2 channels. It will be mainly used for mic's on guitar cab, and very rare use for vocals. Don't need an EQ, Comp, etc I already have those covered. Any suggestions?
