Description

Audient was founded in 1997 by David Dearden and Gareth Davies, previously of Soundcraft. They had been founding partners of DDA – a company known for designing mixing console in the 1980s and 1990s. The company was later purchased by Simon Blackwood in the winter of 2013.

Audient Mico with Drawmer 231 into Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 3rd gen. Any thoughts?

Online I found a second hand Audient Mico Mic pre-amp for sale. I already have the Drawmer 231 Compressor/limiter and the Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 3rd gen.

I may have mentioned it before but after listening the Audient's, I'm pretty much sold on them. It's been almost 10 years since the eleven rack was out so I'm sure technology has got better. Audient id14 is about 4 years old?

Audient ASP800 and Apollo x8p connectivity

I looking for some input and suggestions. I am up grading my studio and plan to purchase an Apollo X8P. I also want to add an additional 8 XLR inputs. I am considering the Audient ASP800 to meet this need. Will this work or are there better options I should consider?

Ok, I know it's again another preamp post ! lol

So I'll make it short.

I already have 2 LA-610, 4-710, 4x ISA and a RME Fireface 800

I need at least 4 more preamp, to allow me to track a full band and this is not happening very often.

What about the new Audient ASP800 ?

HI guys,

I already have 10 somewhat colored preamps and since I changed my Saffire 56 for a RME ff800

I'm missing a few preamps to drive a complete band.

There isn't many choices around 1 k. I'm planning the buy at the end of summer.

Audient vs. my current pres?

Hi,

I'm currently using an ART MPA Gold, M-Audio Tampa and DMP3 as my pres.

I mainly record vocals and occasionally guitar and bass.

I've read that upgrading the tubes in the ART MPA Gold makes a big difference to it's performance so I'm torn between upgrading these or selling all my pres and get the Audient Mico?

Between (Digidesign) PRE and the Audient (from Trident), what is your favorite?

Do you know another model that sounds better for the this price?
