Well, now i have in the studio a VR C12 and a UA 6176. before that i worked with the 414 and the api 3124 beautifully parting, but now I try to record a voice with the C12 and 6176 and the result is almost disappointing, also with the api and the Isa 428.

i'm wondering what peoples experiences have been with this mic. how does it's sound relate to the amazing C12 or to the C414eb that followed? what applications do you find it best suited to? etc, etc, etc...

Anyone have any correct info on the differences between current 414UBLS, TLII, and the 414EB. I understand some of the early EBs had C12 capsules? Sonically what's the difference?
