Transmitting Midi Clock data in Reason Essentials to Alesis SR16 drum machine
I want to transmit midi clock data to my SR16 drum machine so that when i hit record on the transport control and get a 2 bar count in my drum machine
kicks in on time after the 2 bar count so i can record it.
I can do this in Pro Tools easy, but am really struggling for some reason in reason essentials.
Please help!
Faulty Alesis SR16?
Hello all,
dug out my SR16 to use it's sounds (fed up with loading up plugins for basic drum sounds I'm only going to destroy them anyway) and it's not outputting audio from either the L/R main outputs, the Headphones jack or the Aux stereo out!

Alesis SR-16: Serious Problems with Sound
I have just bought an Alesis SR-16 and when I tap the pads or play the demo, the sound is extremely low and so distorted that I can hardly identify the different voices.

Midi problem: E-Mu 1212, Cakewalk Homestudio Alesis SR16
okay, not really one problem. I'm just completely lost. The gist, however, is this:
I want to record my SR16 in cakewalk. I want the tempo to be the same in the software and in the SR16. I don't seem to be able to get cakewalk to tell the sr16 the exact tempo (don't know the technical term). If I just set the two to the same BPM setting, the tempos are slightly off.
