The drummer for my band has made the click tracks we would like to use in Guitar Pro and we plan on just importing those into pro tools to play along with (he likes the cues he's made in them that we cant get from just a straight click). I've also made a click in Pro Tools so I can later beat detect it.

Hey everyone, Just wondering if beat detective is something that comes with the standard pro tools le or do you need the music production upgrade? And also I'd like to hear about your experiences using beat detective (easy to use? difficult to use? Would you be able to live your life without it? etc...lol)

I hate! Sonar, I couldn't imagine a worse or more confusing user interface. Unfortunately audiosnap seems like its going to be necessary for my next project for converting audio to midi files. I already use and love pro-tools, and have experience with Beat Detective.

Does anybody have a preference for the two programs (AudioSnap 2.0 or Beat Detective, duh) and why?

now, i know there's a lot of you conservative jerks out there that would give not very helpful answers such as -"just get a good drummer" blah blah...etc.- but let's face it.- now a days people just care about getting a more professional sound. and i'm open to any thing that could help.

Is there a plugin that is similar to beat detective that works well in Cubase? So far i can't find anything that comes close to working as well as beat detective.

Im traing to select multiple tracks to use Beat detective but I can.Even when the 8 tracks of the drum are selected when I hit"beat Marker Generation only one works.
And if Ido it one by one star flamming. How do you use beat detective on a multiple chanel drum recording?

Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone knows an alternative to Beat Detective, something that I can use within Adobe Audition or something similar, outside of Digidesign's realm.

I'd appreciate any ideas!

I mentioned in other posts about this project I'm working on in PT and 10 drum tracks.

So how do I use beat detective on 10 tracks? I've used it on bass, and piano with much success, but when it comes to drums, I'm baffled, even though it's probably the easiest way to use it.
