How any1 heard or uses Benchmark ADC-?

I would like 2 kno if any1 knows how this sounds - its elf and or against something like a... Apogee Rosetta 200 a/D.

At long last, today I received an email from Benchmark announcing the first shippments of the long awaited ADC-1 converter. This is the companion to the DAC-1. Retail is $1,775.

Benchmark Media Ships New ADC1 Analog-to-Digital Converter

Last week was the NAB convention in Las Vegas. The big news was console maker Neve cancelled and did not attend the show. Otherwise there were few surprises for those interested in recording as most of the attention goes to visual side of the business. Apple did show a new bundle of HD capable software called Final Cut Studio that includes an audio editing application called Soundtrack Pro.
