Cubase LE and Latency
The problem i'm having is with the Latency in the Cubase program. I lowered the buffer rate from 5 to 3 which is the lowest i could get. Should i change the buffer size as well? I have that set at 5512.

Hello
Im trying to sync my Fostex VF160 mixing console with Cubase sx 2.0 using midi a single midi cable, is this enough?. Midi out from Audigy zs sound card to Midi in on the desk. I've been wrecking my brain going around all the sync settings on cubase, I think the desk settings are fine, but it aint syncing. Any help with this would be much appreciated.
What's up!
I'm just blowing my headz out! I'm trying to record midi to Cubase but it delays my performance. I can't imagine why that. My digi002 don't delay audio, so why it will delay midi? I'm not talkin about playback, it records the midi performance in delayed midi notes. Even the audio monitoring is allright. And the quantize and snap it's off.
I may sound completely amateur when i ask this question, but. I have the MI4 interface which works great for guitars and MIDI but microphones? On the mixer in Cubase the signal is registered on the slider but you can get no sound out of the mic at all! Could really do with some help!
Thanks,
Dopey

I've heard that Cubase is the same as Nuendo without the Video features. Is this true? If not, what other differences are there?
Also, What is the difference between Cubase SX3 and Cubase SL3?
i have a new firepod from PreSonus and i have up to 10 inputs. But i am trying to record drums. So i have all my mics hooked up into the fire pod and on my drums. But how do i hear the sound from all the microphones?
Hi gang--great forum! I am building a PC with and am trying to decide what I should get in terms of recording programs/interfaces. The computer is all up to par as far as specs go...AMD processor, low latency 1 gig ram, separate 250 gig hard drive, etc.
I just got back from Nashville and was able to work a little in Pro Tools. I am a Cubase guy myself so I am trying to figure out how they did something in Pro Tools.
I can't get Cubase to recognise the inputs on the Delta 66 as individual inputs, though the manual assures me that i should be able to.
If it is working would the inputs come up on the left menu thing?
it says "in: stereo in" there at the moment, with no other options to pick.
