Hi guys, Im getting no output when connecting HD core card to digi 192 to control 24.
Digi link from core card to "primary port" on 192.
Analogue output from 192 to "pro tools sources in" on control 24.
Control room output to speakers via ch.1 & 2.

Iv set pro tools ins & outs to A1 & A2. Meter bridges are showing signal but no sound.

Hi guys, Im looking to step up my equipment in my home studio. I saw that a lot of studios were using the Pro Tools Control 24 Console. My questions are, Is this just a controller or does it help with mixing and sound quality? Also, can it and how would it work with my Pro Tools 003 rack being that there are only 8 ins and outs?

We're preparing to gear up our new studio to be able to record full bands. Trying to decide which will be the best fit. Will have both Logic and Pro Tools(003 Rack) on the same daw, so would like to be able to control them both. Currently have a Focusrite ISA 428 which we'll be adding additional channels of outboard pres.

I just read that Digi control 24 arent compatible with digi 002, how does the mixer interact with Pro Tools?

I work for a blind guy's studio as his engineer. He just purchased a computer/software upgrade and we will be running MIX^3 on a G3 with lots of bells and whistles... We are currently using a Mackie 32/8 for inputs and a HUI for mixdown. We want some help deciding which direction to go from here. He wants to upgrade the board but is concerned about the realistic options.

I have a chance to get a great deal on one of these, but I am kind of torn. I mean yeah the Sony would be more compatible with other formats instead of the tdm control 24, but this is for an expansion to the studio, which already is using DP3, so we are trying to get a pro tools rig. So I am at a crossroads. So many people are telling me the Sony, the Sony the Sony..

I was just curious on peoples thoughts on the Control 24, for Pro Tools HD3? The studio I am going to be freelancing from has just upgraded to one with a HD3 system, and I was curious on peoples opinions.. and how does it measure up compared to the medium to large format analog consoles?

the damndest thing. come in for a session, they arent working. been a busy week in that particular control room, lots of young-ens. everything seems to be good, but the faders arent sliding up...even in the vegas test mode. seems to be a hardware problem, not software. does anyone know anything?

Rewiring a friends studio and would like to bring in a patchbay. Having never wired one I'm looking for suggestions from those that might have been through it before. Our gear as of now is:

Hey, i'm new here and about to buy Pro Tools. when i saw the pro control 24 (and the 16 preamps!), it made my decision to buy Pro Tools a lot easier.
