[Cubase 5/Plugins] Acoustic Recording Question [To Mic Or Not To Mic]

Hey everyone quick question. If using Cubase 5 what plugins do you normally use to record acoustic guitar (This is my first time with acoustic). Also, would you suggest running the guitar straight from a mixing board to an audio interface, or Micing it? If you suggest Micing where do you normally place your condensers?

Fade editors in Cubase - Why is the very end so incorrect?

So I finally figured out how to create and use a fade, at least in one of the ways the Cubase does this. And I can indeed change the profile or shape. I am happy with the first 95% of their performance, however the very last 1/4 or so second just falls off a sonic cliff. It is inadequate to say the least.

Melodyne sync problems with Cubase 5

Hi! Recently upgraded to Cubase 5 and now have Melodyne.

But Melodyne and Cubase won't sync on playback. Xfer to Melodyne via the Bridge in Cubase seems no problem - great quality, low CPU load, multiple tracks sync together. But they are all out of sync upon playback.

Even if I do no editing at all in Melodyne, they just won't play back in sync.

Problems recordingAddictive Drums instrument track in Cubase

I have a program called Addictive drums. I can get the instrument track up, and seemingly record a pattern, as I see the track change color as it advances (although it shows no data like a normal track) but as soon as I stop recording, the track virtually disappears. Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong?
