Hello everyone.



I have a Chilton M10 desk which I run my MPC, synths etc into and currently work entirely OTB.

I’m looking to encorporate a DAW into my setup for mixing, but still have the desks eqs, auxs at my disposal as it sounds really nice.

I can only use the living room in my new apartment. I need advice where to place my desk and monitors. The 3D rendering is of the apartment but the furnishings aren't mine. Think of the living room empty. I haven't moved in yet.

I like standing a lot, especially when its creating music and editing. I was surfing around and saw these.

I took up the challenge of building my own mixer desk. Here are just a few snaps.

I'm looking to get a mixer to connect to my new iMac 2013. I'd like to buy something below £500, ideally around £200-£300.

My mate has a Yamaha 01V96 digital mixing desk he willing to let me borrow and I was wondering if I could use it with Pro Tools to use as either a controller or to actually record?

I have a 36 channel Angela AMEK analog desk and need to upgrade to a digital solution.



My primary constraints are that this is a teaching facility and therefore need to facilitate both Pro Tools and Logic Studio.

i'm happy user of SSL x desk but i need 8 additional sub groups. X desk has 16 channels totally (8 line inputs and 8 alternate cue mix channels) 8 inserts and 8 direct outs. my dream is to build or use (modify SSL x desk?) some existing features to get 8 summing sub groups. is that possible?

I was hoping someone could direct me to a/any number of converters that would work with our gear. We are only just setting up a studio at home to record so do not have a lot of equipment as yet. What we do have is a Behringer mx8000 24/48 eurodesk that we picked up for a very good price indeed, and an iMac.
