The definition of high end

Bob Olhsson wrote: Using a 57 that beat a U47 in a shoot-out is high end. Using a 57 because that's all you can afford is not high-end. The difference lies in both the confidence and the lack of excuses that a cost-no-object approach gives both you and the performers. It's why some of us would much rather rent the very best than own second-best.

Definition of a remix?

hi all,
hope you can help me with an issue of mine...
i'm working on the musical project of mine (not alone) for more than 2 years, an instrumental electronic music project (not trance).
we finished writing the composition and recorded demo versions for all songs, found a good english mixer to work with and we're started to record the master.

Mono "Bass" on Vinyl - Definition in Hertz?

Hey,

What is the definition of "bass" that needs to be mono for vinyl?

I'm seeing different numbers -- below 125 Hz, 150 Hz, 300 Hz, 400 Hz?

Is there any official definition?

Does it depend on what the bass is doing? Traditional "stereo image" versus actively bouncing around? Fairly compressed level versus punchy amplitude changes?
