Now before I spend nights trying to find the best way to patch my 17 racks of outboard, could some suggest ways they are doing it?
I have Vocal processors, comps, Guitar proc.. etc.

I am just getting started with my Digi 002/PTLE. I want to use the "Audio Suite" effects on my trumpet sound. I have 2 questions which are holding me back as I get started.
How do I apply effects to a track
1. as it is being recorded, and
2. after being recorded?
Advantages of Digi 002 (non-rack) over Mbox that makes it worth the extra $$?

i use a Delta 1010 at the moment. i was looking at upgrading to the MOTU 828MKII but at the same time i have artist that need PT and i really need to master the software since i might be working be working in a Hd2 studio.
is the Digi 002R "THAT" much better than the delta1010 or is it a slight difference in the sound?
I'm running DP 4 on a G5 through an DIGI002 and having trouble. I got the audio working fine with the DIGI Core driver, but am having trouble with MIDI. I'm using a Triton as a MIDI controller and tone generator and have it plugged into analog 7 and 8 on the 002. I will soon be adding a dedicated gigastudio setup via light pipe.
I'm thinking about buying a digi002. It will be used mostly for recording acoustic stuff. Has any one used this? I also need a mike for around $400. What would be a good mike for guitar and vocals. I've used a AKG3000 and liked it alot. Any sugestions.

Considering Digidesign 002 + Pro Tools LE 6.4 for windows based system. The difference in price between Digidesign 002 Rack vs Digi 002 non-rack is considerable--about 1200 for rack vs about 2600 for non rack.
I'm new to this. What would be the advantages of one over the other? Thanks.
