i heard i can use the digi 002rack in other DAW's like Cubase sx, but i went into my devices setup i nCubase and all i can get are the built in audio inputs. what am i missing? or is this not even possible?

I'm looking to reformat my 'ol trusty g4 to a dual boot. so i can have osX and os9. then id like to save all my PT (6.1) files to an external 120gb drive and so i can work with my projects on both 9 and X...is this possible? because i love osX but i have a lot of plugins that only work with 9..thus my problem
any other suggestions would be great

Hello fellow studio junkies. I am at a crossroads. I have decided to go Mac like most of you big boys out there.
Now the question is MOTU 828 via Logic 5 Platinum
or the Pro Tools LE 002 via Pro Tools (I think it comes with entry level)?
RecorderMan made a point about setting myself up for the future by going Logic since Mac now owns it.

I just bought a digi 002, which cam with pro tools, i also bought a new HP computer with Windows XP and installed a fire wire port in it. I installed pro tools fine but when i tried to install the digi002 as new hardware i had a problem.

what is the best way to get digi 002 beats/synths into Pro Tools via digi 002? do i have to plug out of the headphone amp into the preamps [which got all sorts of glitchy noise]?

it was giving me an error when i tried to load up the aif files from reason into pro tools, it went on about converting them into mono files, which i didn't do.

so i got the rack version for the 002, what plugins should i get and in what order?

waves? Bomb Factory?
