I bought a used Roland EXR-5 and want to use it as a Midi controller to record on a computer with Cubase LE. I will need some driver or software so that the computer recognizes the MIDI info, dont I? Only thing I could find online is this, is this right? Anyone know where the link is? Please help. Thanks Michel

I usually use an echo mona with Sonar software and ASIO drivers but I recently received an M-Audio firewire solo for free that i would like to use in addition to the echo. The only problem is ASIO drivers only support one sound card at a time!

Trying to get an M-Box 2 with PT LE 7.0 setup on a new PC but when installing i get -

"The software you are installing for this hardware, M-Box 2, has not passed Windows logo testing to verify it's compatability with XP"

It's XP Media Centre Edition i'm using could this be the problem?

So, gleefully, I unboxed my new Pro Tools system late this morning:

- HD1 (Windows)
- Apogee AD16X x/ X-HD card
- Apogee Rosetta 200 w/ X-HD card

We have been discussing my question in the audio/video forum but I felt that it was time to ask around here. (being the computer forum!)

The subject sums it up - the XLR output is about 20% the volume of the unbalanced output. Surely a faulty unit? As a newbie, I may be missing something. I mailed Tech21, still awaiting a response.

If it is faulty the trouble is, I bought it from America, and have a demo deadline to meet. So I am not particularly keen on sending it back for replacement.

I had a computer crash, and when re-installing my hardware, I found that my driver disk for the E-magic audiowerk-8 is missing. I have been all over the net, including E-magic's home site. I have found drivers, but none will download.(go figure!)
Does anyone have a driver for this card on windows 98 platform?
