Editing out RF

I'm presented with the task of editing out RF from all the drum tracks on 3 songs. What is the best way to do this?

I am able to gate with good results but not for the cymbals. I would rather not use gates if I don't need to.

I am able to eq it out but it's not without big sacrifice also.

Hello all.

I have been recording my music using mainly drum machines and keyboards and of course microphone with a DAW for the past few months.

Now that i understand my equipment better, i've realized i dont exactly understand EQ and other editing tools.

I would greatly appreciate any tips/tricks/advice on the subject.

Hey RO'ers, I need some concrete advice. I am in the process of editing one of our songs to be played on the radio, and I was wondering how can I get clean edits of particular words using Pro Tools. I am editing the words using the mute function, but I notice that on some of the mutes you can tell when the audio drops out and comes back in.

I've been having a problem with the chorus/ Hook of my songs. .Usually I will take the hook/chorus of the song. copy it, and then paste it to another part of the song. I usually do this for the all the hooks/chorus's throughout the song. My problem is that I place them by ear and sometimes each hook/chorus will be different.I was wondering if there was an easier way to do this.

When I'm working on this one film at home I am getting this weird problem when I seperate regions (command e). I'll cut a region and a bunch of regions in the region list will also cut. They don't cut in the timeline, just the list. I have to select unused regions and delete them or else it slows down performance. I am using LE 6.1.2 The session I am working on comes from a 24mix system.
