Radio Junk - free vst lo-fi effects

So I have an entry in the 2012 KVR Dev Challenge. Some people here might be familiar with my Nebula work, and this entry uses that tech in a standalone form known as AcqUA (so you don't need Nebula). It's my first non-Nebula dependent anything, and when I actually first entered it into the contest there were several bugs, but I just uploaded an update that I think has ironed them out.

Are there any FX that will create volume pedal swell effect while recording guitar?

Is there a way to set up a compressor or limiter, flanger or other so that while recording straight into my DAW (Studio One) I can get the feel of a guitar volume pedal ( as I don't have a pedal)? I know once I'm editing I can do fade ins and fade outs but wondered if there was a way to accomplish the feel while recording?

Sonitus FX suite - $73 - act fast!

I bought a few of these effects years back (like 2002) and still use them today. They aren't the hottest thing on the block, but they are good effects that get the job done - when the job fits.
They are clean, efficient, with great interfaces that provide excellent feedback
The multiband compressor is great for surgical work - attacking a very specific frequency range.

My guitar tracks bleed into the Auxiliary (effect) track

Hi everyone, my guitar track bleeds into the Auxiliary (effect) track on Cubase.
I am using a Phonic Helix 18 Firewire into Cubase.
So essentially, track 1 and 2 (guitar tracks) bleed into my track 15 which happens to be the effect track which I am running vocals and reverb through.
I just want to monitor the guitars, not have them bleed into what I am recording.
