Voice effect California Love
What is the voice effect on the singing in California love?
It sounds like there's auto-tune on there, but something else also. It sounds like there's synthesized bends on it.
any ideas?
Thanks

I'm currently in the mixing/editing process of producing my bands first ep and am having trouble finding the right effect. The beginning of the song has an ambient piano part with a snare rI'm part that is playing triplets. I've been putting reverb and different phasers on it and am having trouble getting the right sound without it sounding cheesy.
First, a suggestion to the site mods/ admin:
i searched 'smoke' on RO
So i was going over some interface choices w/ a good friend of mine MOTU 192 (mk1,mk2,mk3), 896mk2, m-audio 1814, pro-track, digi 002. These are what people we know own, i know there's a few good ones missing.
Could someone please help me figure this out? I run Cubase 5 full retail version on a Dell XPS 630 with a Tascam FW-1884 interface. I have used this setup for 2 years without a problem and I just installed a new harddrive. When I try to record, any insert effects that I setup are not being used when tracking. However when I play the recorded track back the effect is then on the track.
I am trying to make the same sound that is being echoed and repeated in the beginning of the song "Bad Stone" Here is the link to it:
How do I make this?
I am using Ableton Live 8, and I have NI Massive plugin as a synth.
Thanks
I have a little mixer called the Behringer Xenyx 1202 FX
What I would like to do is monitor my vocals with the effects from the mixer along with the output from my computer's sound card through the headphone Jack on the mixer.
I am looking forward to finding the name of a sound effect. Here is the sample of the effect.
When I increase the volume of the subwoofer, the song with this effect seems to be rich.

Do you know what is this effect and how to generate?
Thank you!
I got the answer. Thank you!
I need a 1 rack space unit which can do the echo loop ON THE FLY just like the Denon X1500 mixer like in this video:
