Asking on behalf of a fellow member on another electronics repair forum. He seems to have a bad a resistor that is some type of 1/4 resistor that is right beside the bridge rectifier. Obviously, these new types of schematics are tough to come by... However, the year of the device is 2007 and all that is really needed is the value of this resistor.
Can these two pieces of gear place nice together?

I about to invest into my home studio and purchase the PreSonus "Firestudio Project".
I'd really like to know what you guys think of it since it's the first time I'm buying an audio interface.
My Goal:
I run live sound for bands, and would like to be able to offer a decent live recording of the performance (mobile).

Hey guys, I have setup my Reason 4.0 software and am looking for the right interface. I have read other forums and decided on the PreSonus FireStudio Project Recording Interface. However, there are two options, the Factory B-stock (399.99) and the Standard (499.99). Due to my budget I would prefer the 399.99. Could anyone tell me the difference between the two and which one is worth it?
Pros and cons for either?
What is are the primary differences between the two?
The FP10 is at $400 at musiciansfriend.com, while the Firestudio Project is $500.
Side question: Would I be better off getting one of those with the Brick pre-amp/DI, or would should get the FireStudio Tube?

I've just about had it with the issues between my FireStudio Project and Mac OS X Leopard so I've decided to sell it and buy MOTU. But before I do I was wondering what you guys think of MOTU and Leopard and if you've run into problems or just what you think of MOTU in general.
