Need help make a choice between some interfaces.

Hey guys,

I have a PreSonus firestudio, and i was thinking of upgrading to Pro Tools HD or the Digi rack 003. My mics consist of RODE Nt5s, handfull of Audix I-5s and 57's, sterling ST55 and an Audix D6.

I wanted to know how much of a diffrence gettting either pro tools will make, and which would be better to purchase.

Thanks

Sound delays (latency) with midi interfaces

Hello everyone,
i have a midi keyboard, the M audio keystation 49e. I'm using it with Cubase SX on a vista computer. the keystation is working, but there is a realy bad delay on the notesreaching the computer, making it nearly impossible to record along with music on the keystation. does anyone know how i can deal with this latency problem? help would be much apprecitated,

Multiple interfaces with a laptop

Hi,
I just got myself set up with Sonar 6 home studio and a Tapco 2 channel firewire interface. In my newbie ignorance I purchased a 3 port firewire PCMCIA card assuming that my laptop didn't have firewire. I came to realize that it does... with a 4 pin connector instead of 6, i did not recognize this as firewire until after I opened the package of the PCMCIA card.

Question about interfaces..

Try not to tear me apart, I did search but didn't find what I wanted to know.

Right now I have a PreSonus FP10, nothing crazy by all means but does home stuff pretty well.

But I was looking at some of the Pro Tools stuff, and I noticed that their interfaces don't have any mic inputs.

I'm guessing thats because it isn't a preamp as well...

Audio Interfaces

Hi, Im trying to record vocals, a keyboard, and a guitar. I need an audio interface. I was set on buying an m-audio fast track usb interface after visiting a store, but reading online reviews has changed my mind. I am considering a firewire interface, but i do not a firewire input on my computer.
Is there a usb/firewire converter?
Which is easier?

Audio Interfaces - Ive chosen 8 but which one would be best?

Hi All!
Edit: The list of audio interfaces is at the bottom of this post in code tags, its the only way I could lay it out in a table format.

Ok so ive decided for my beginners home studio I need an audio interface as I would like to record vocals, acoustic guitar, base and some other instruments (sometimes together, sometimes individually).
