I have been trying to introduce some bass sounds to my recordings (mainly acoustic).

I am having little success with Synth Bass's that comesupplied with logic. I suppose what i am after is a good bass guitar plugin - anybody know of one which sounds good?

Ok here is my list of gear with all of the interfaces listed and some ideas I had to start my setup.

I use Logic and Apogeerosetta 800, everytime I bounce the whole track when finished production, (this will go through a Neve preamp usally.). WHY the song played from logic always sound better from the one bounced?

We're preparing to gear up our new studio to be able to record full bands. Trying to decide which will be the best fit. Will have both Logic and Pro Tools(003 Rack) on the same daw, so would like to be able to control them both. Currently have a Focusrite ISA 428 which we'll be adding additional channels of outboard pres.

Ok so i was sitting in on a logic recording session and i remember the engineer saying

" You will have to change the
buffer settings in logic audio preferrences in order to record "
as i was taking in a thousand other studio quirks and rooting paths etc i was only half on the ball... i know terrible hey.

My question is firstly

The resaon I'm asking this is two part. 1. I'm currently running Logic 5.5.1 on PC and will soon be moving to Mac to upgrade to the latest version of logic but I want to buy a UAD-1 now to use on current projects. 2. As I have to buy the UAD-1(pci) to work in my current system, will it work also on the newest Macs? Or do you have to purchase the UAD-1e(pci express) for the new Macs.

Hello please can any one guide me or send me a copy of the latest apple logic key commands as i am sick of the slow drudge of clicking and mouse navigation and could really do with speeding up my overall process.
