If i am sending my guitars to an aux channel with a compressor plugin on via a bus should my Aux Effects channel be a stereo channel or a mono
channel? If stereo and i have 2 mono guitars should each guitar be sent on a differnet bus to the stereo Aux with compressor on and then route that Aux to the group stereo bus?

Well the seed was planted right here on this forum to get into a 2-bus compressor, the api 2500 to be specific, well I got an xpressor 500, didn't like it, BUT>>>>Tomorrow I have a pair of 527's showing up that can be linked in my lunchbox. ok, I make hip hop music, and i wanna squeeze all my vocals together alittle bit on a bus in Sonar 3.

what's a good theshold/ratio or level of compression for this. I dont want them to get to squashed, but get tighter together.
