I have a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and KRK Rokit 6's. I want to power them off when not in use. The monitors have a switch on back, but would be much easier to flip one switch on a power conditioner. Also the interface doesn't have a power button. Somewhere I read to safely power it off, I should first shut down the computer, then unplug.

Hello, I want to know what I can do to install a power amp or modify it so that it's portable for transport. I'd also like to know how to handle a power amp with care.

The band that i play with don't have much space so we are constantly moving between 3 houses. I recently acquired a power amplifier (Yamaha PD2500) and two "Acoustic Linear Monitors 12" passive speakers.

Looking to permanently mount a Shure Beta91A to the lid of a piano, but shy of using tape, I'm not really sure how to mount it.

Would it be a bad idea to screw it to the lid? Self adhesive tape?

I tried setting up my Digi 002 last night but could not get a session to open, I kept getting an eror message saying that it cannot mount drive, it is not a valid audio volume. I deleted the contents of the drive, tried to partition it to not avail. Can anybody shed some light on this?

I've searched with little success. I just finished the grunt work on an Avatar Vintage Premium-inspired 2x12 cabinet. I have a rear mounted 1x12 and a front mounted 1x12, both are satisfactory.

Do any of you have (well based) strong opinions on this? I'm mounting WarehouseSpeakers.com clones of V30 and ClassicLead80s (wired in parallel if you care)

Hi. I need a shock mount to fit the MXL V67g or V67i mic (and maybe others...I don't know which others share that form factor). I have read that MXL's official shock mount for these mics, the MXL 57, leaves a lot to be desired.

Is it ok to mount a Tape deck/Cd player (Tascam CDA500) in this rack ? Or should have one side modifies to a vertical rack 3U space ?

I just got a matched trio of B+K 4006 and will surely be experimenting with Decca Tree in the future. Just curious if anyone here uses it, and what mounting options are tried and true. I am aware of the AEA bar, but would like more ideas. does everyone fly the mount or is anyone using a stand?

After much reading here and elsewhere I will most likely be getting a pair of Event TR8's for my home studio. The cheaper ones($600 CAN), not the professional model($1200CAN).

Anyway, it is my intention to soffit mount them. In my studio that would place them 7 feet apart. This of course has me 7 feet from each of them to form the equallateral triangle.
