Greetings all.
As a photographer, filmmaker, lifelong audio enthusiast, and beginner sound recorder, I'm glad to have found this website to research, ask for, and perhaps sometime, offer advice for the art of recording.
How many of you moved to Hollywood with high expectations to join or put a band together within a month or two and rise to the top of the club circuit in short order? How did that turn out?
Hi everyone,
First of all, I wasnt quite sure where to post this so if it's in the wrong forum, could a kindly mod move it for me?
As part of my degree Im conducting a study on the relationship between listening fatigue, how we perceive audio quality, genre preference and listening experience.
I could really use some advice on choosing equipment. I have a custom built PC and I want to be able to switch back and forth between music production (recording), DJ (both live and recording) and listening to music with as much quality as possible. In other words switchable between flat and non-flat. Where I am especially lost is the USB Audio Interface and DAC.
I sing but I don't play any instruments. I'd like to find software that allows me to do the following...
1. "Select" notes one at a time - allowing me to hunt for it til I find the right one, then lock it in once I've got it. (Also, allow me to take each note and make it a chord if I want to.)
