U67 Price in AusBucks
Hey Guys, I just got a quote back on a U67 from my Local dealer and was wondering what the going street value is on these babies? I can get it for $2600.00 AU which I think equates to about $1500.00 US. Worth it or should I hunt around a bit more?

U67 or modern equivalent?
I'm looking for a U67 or modern equivalent. If I can't find anything new that is comparable then I'll probably just go for the original. I have seen recommendations for the Korby 67M and the Soundelux U99. Neither of these microphones is a faithful representation as they have enhancements or modifications. The U99 reportedly sounds closer to an M269.

U67 or something similar?
I've seen a couple of companies doing remakes of the U47 and have heard people comparing some of the Chinese tube mics to C12's. Is there anyone out there making mics that are supposed to sound like U67's. Also, where can I find a used U67?

Neumann M269 vs. . . U67
Anybody out compared the M269 and U67. From what I understand the tubes a bit brighter and the M269 has a little less distortion. My application would be primarily female vocals with sparse arrangements in a ballad context (brazillian and ambient music). I'm sure they vary from mic but I'd love to hear any user feedback on these. The elam is way out of my ballpark. thanks.

Neumann U67 - Reissue vs. . Original
Neumann came out with a re-issue of the U67 in 1991. How does it compare sonically to the original U67?
