I'm looking at getting a 500 series set up with my tax $. My question is this. Anyone ever use OSA's 11 space rack. My main concern is quality of the psu compared to api or bae units. I couldn't find any info on it. The only reason I question it is because there's a considerable price difference. Thanks.

opinions specifically about these 2 mic preamp's{mp1-c and mp1-L3.what do you like about em?and what have you compared them to?how versatile are each? and how defined and clear do they stay when mixing numerous tracks?

I have a couple of api 512cs. In my opinion they are great for certain applications, (drums, bass, guitars)but I need something more suitable for vocals, cymbals, etc. I saw Osa makes several different pres. Do they make a pre with a bit more mids, and top end? I need a something with less smear on the highend. Bae 312a maybe?

I have just gotten my first "real" Pre. An OSA "C" model and have some questions about external pres in general.
