I recently set up Cubase 5.1 on my laptop and I plugged in a USB mixboard that is working properly, however I can not get Cubase to receive a signal from it. I've exhausted all the option in my device setup menu, and I don't know what the problem is. Any help or tips?

Whenever my recordings get to about 1 minute 40 seconds they suddenly stop. Would this be a latency issue or what exactly? Also I have a good computer so that shouldn't be the problem.

I have slowly over the yrs ended w/a bunch of cool FX but now when I turn them on w/a Furman PC I get a loud thump. Some of the FX have 3 prong and some 2prong.Before I start ripping it all down any advice.Could I have a bad cap to ground etc.How does a studio keep it OK. Here a list,1)furman 2)Soho 4 tube preamp,3)ART Pitch tranposer/multFX.

Just got a shiny red pair of KRK Rokit G2 6s, but I don't have an interface yet so I tried to connect them directly to my Mac Pro. They came with male/male TRS cables so I picked up a couple of TRS to 1/8" converters and used an 1/8" Y connector I had lying around to plug them into the line out port in back, and then changed the sound settings to send sound output to the line out port.

I recently purchased a desktop from ADK, and while I am happy with it for the most part, I am having some serious problems with basic stuff. I'm hardly even using any of the comp's power and when doing simple things like opening a plugin or saving or even when I open a project, my DAW freezes and doesn't respond, which usually results in a force quit.

The high notes on bass are not as audible as the low notes and the low notes on guitar are not as audible as the high notes. What can I do to fix this? I am using reaper.

I've recorded a few simple things with Amplitube, but I'm wanting to get into compositions, and this requires something more like Acid Pro 7.0 so I can layer tracks and things like that.

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum, but I'm having a major issue! Please help! Whenever I try to bounce in Pro Tools with beginning and ending fades, it reads the beginning fade as silence--and cuts in right after the fade when there's the first signal. I have NO IDEA why it's doing this, in fact, I've tried reinstalling and that doesn't work please help!

Hi guys, this is my first post and it seems the appropriate place to put it, so forgive me if its in the wrong area. Im a DJ an like to record my own sets, the one i recorded today though seems to have developed a weird stutter through the entire recording (about 2 hours worth).

I have had a new problem develop today in the studio with my Di boxes and my AWESOME Little Labs Di/Re-amper boxes. Everything sounds fine UNTIL I plug the XLR cable into them.
