Description
In computing, PC Card is a configuration for computer parallel communication peripheral interface, designed for laptop computers. Originally introduced as PCMCIA, the PC Card standard as well as its successors like CardBus were defined and developed by the Personal Computer Memory Card International Association.

Pcmcia

Personal Computer Memory Card International Association was organized in 1989 to promote standards for credit card-size devices that can fit in a portable computer. Originally designed as a storage device, it later expanded to other applications such as modems and networking. For audio and video users, the technology has been extended to include input/output devices.

PCMCIA card for mixing only

Hello,

I am looking for some advice. I do exclusively location recording (church choirs, school concerts, that sort of thing). My "studio" is simply a room in my house that I have optimized for critical listening and mixing. Given I still have my day job, and limited space, anything I can do to be more efficient (both less time and taking up less room) is of interest to me.

Audigy 2 ZS PCMCIA and monitor input w/ Acid 5

Hi All, Got a weird question here; The Audigy allows EAX FX (in this case reverb on the line in) but it automatically mutes the line in when I open the record dialog in Acid Pro 5. This necessitates opening the mixer, muting and then unmuting the line in every time I record a track so I can monitor input wet- pain in the butt.
