An idiot. A moron. Feel free to agree with me. I deserve it, after finding out - while doing some critical listening to some tracks - that for two weeks now I've been listening to my monitors with the right side connected out of phase. :notworthy:

I have recorded many tracks but haven't had a problem like this until now.
When i record my vocals in my studio, they sound great, on my computer (desktop) and on my Studio Speakers. it also sounds great in my car. But when i play them back on my Mac book or our local radio station, we cant hear the vocals. does anybody know an easy fix for this problem?
Is it possible to wire cables out of phase? For instance on the use of top and bottom of a snare.
Are there any other cheap alternatives without changing inside of a DAW?
I'm thinking of buying a Yamaha MG16/4 mixer for my small home studio. In the manual it states that the channel inserts are out of phase with the rest of the outputs on the board.
Please, can someone help me with any piece of gear that can summ the low end. I need to be able to select the frequencies, say 120hz down and be able to put those freq's in mono. This piece of gear needs to be of high quality. I'm having problems with this going to vinyl.

If I use 2 mic's on guitar. One SM57 up close and a LDC about 3 feet away. Should I.
A) Put on a set out head phones and listen to where the signal gets louder or weaker (but moving the mic around)
B) Just start using the phase reverse button and always use one mic out of phase
If your recording a kit and your mics are out of phase, can you reverse it in the mix! :?
maybe its here already, i didnt find it. .can any one post some in phase/ out of phase sound clips, maybe in high fidelity. .some of use may need some ear training.

i got a final mix handed to me. I am a little worry that something is out of phase.
Is there a way for me to check if the stereo file I got is in phase, using protool.
cause I don't have anything esle to use for checking
