I am trying to use passive speakers as monitors. (I don't have anymore powered speakers). Would it be okay to plug passive speakers into a powered mixer and plug that powered mixer into the monitor out of a non-powered mixer. I already have 2 powered speakers for my 2 main speakers.

Powered mixer - Pyle PMX840BT
Non powered mixer - Mackie profx16v2

Thanks

I have a Behringer PMP2000 powered mixer with 12" speakers (B212XL) and a Behringer EP 4000 Europower power amp with 15" speakers (B215XL). I want to use the powered mixer/12s for monitors and the power amp/15s for mains. I think this is possible but I'm not sure what cables I'll need and how exactly to hook it up.

Can anyone assist in how to use a Mackie 808m powered mixer in conjuction with a Crown XLS202D power amp? Id like to use the Mackie for my 2 Yamaha BR15's and the Crown for two monitos, I'm just not sure how to hook these things up correctly and what kind of cables I will need. Thanks in advance.

I'm trying to do a live off the floor recording by taking the Record Tape Out on a powered mixer and plugging the 2 stereo ouputs (a Y cable) into the Line-in jack on a USB line/mic device (basically an external sound 16bit/44Khz card). The PC is a fast WinXP box with 1Gb of Ram using Audacity or Soundforge.
