110 powered Amp for 220
Hi.
I'm heading to the states in a week and was planning on picking up some gear while I am there, I live in Israel and the price difference will certainly be worth it. I may have the opportunity to get a powered amplifier, but it will be set for 110V. I'm wary of using a converter. Anyone have experience/comments on using a 110 to 220 converter on an amplifier?

Need your opinions about which powered monitors to buy
Hello all,
I'm in the market for new monitors... I'd like to get powered monitors this time around. I currently use Event 20/20 passives with an Alesis RA150 poweramp.
The Events have pretty flat bass response... i know that is generally desirable, but I'm doing dance music and I'm finding that when I bounce down out of Pro Tools my subs are out of control.

anchor self powered speakers
I'm in rehersals with an anchor system as the main. It's one powered with one passive in parrallel. I'll be suplimenting them with eons for the show, but have a question about them in general. They are generating a whole ton of self noise. I don't work with this sort of industrial side equipment, so i'm supposing it's just the way they are.

Using Pro Powered Monitors with regular home stereo
Anyone have any good suggestions for interfacing some powered monitors (JBL LSR28s) up to a home stereo (Kenwood Amp) so that I can still use the remote control to control the volume of the monitors but not double amplify?

adding powered subwoofer to monitors...
hey I have a set of M-Audio BX5 monitors that I use 80% of the time just to listen to music. I'd like to add a powered subwoofer to give it some kick. I don't want a reference sub, and I will isolate the sub when doing any mixing anyhow. I can get a sub at wholesale from work easily, but my problem is how to interface it...

decent enough powered monitors for around 150-200?
I need help buying monitors for tracking/mixing, I want ones where I don't need an external amplifier and i don't have very much money. I want them to be decently accurate, and they don't have to be EXTREMELY loud, as I don't like to listen super loud when i'm recording and mixing. Thanks!
Can you hook an amp up to powered speakers?
OK, I have the Mackie 824's. They are the type of speakers which have an amp built in. I sometimes would like a little more volume. Can I hook my Ramsa power amp up to them as if they were regular speakers, as long as I am not sending crazy levels? A close friend said I would blow my stuff up, I really value my speakers and amp, so I dont want to do something foolish.

I am starting out with a small studio setup and I would like some assistance with the chioce studio monitors.
I heard of Behringer Truths, M-Audio BX8's - any suggestions as to what other good powered monitors are available in this price range.
Thanks and regards,
