Entry Level Mics for recitals/classical ?
Hi, I am always interested in recording for solo recitals / solo concerts untill recently I have the opportunity.
Usually the recording situation will be a soloist + a accompaniment.( violin + piano, clarinet + piano, french horn + piano,etc...)
As you can see the instruments range is quite large, so i need something that i versatile.

How to find recital recording gigs
Hi Everyone,
I'm slowly developing a business of recording classical recitals and music performances. My question to all of you is: how do I market my recording services to this particular sector? Do you have any tips about how I can market myself to classical music teachers and performers?

Good mics for live/small ensembles, recital, choir recordings?
Starting to do some recording of live performances of small ensembles (strings, brass, woodwinds, percussion) and choir recordings.
Mainly student recitals done at on campus recital halls.
I am in need of a good set of matched stereo mics

Portable stereo recording gear from small recital to orch.
I am looking to start recording concerts, recitals, audition tapes, demos, etc. It would be all classical intruments. I'm looking for some kind of gear to record just stereo (i don't wanna get too fancy with tons of mics and wires running all over the place).
