hi guys, i recently purchased a Lynx Two A sound card and SCA preamps. I am looking to record some guitars using Guitar Rig, but just wanting to know what cable i should be looking at to achieve the best signal.

Problem i am having is that the all of the inputs (whether it be the Lynx Card or SCA pres) are XLR.

I have just started building another 4 Seven Circle audio pres to take my tally to 8. I was wondering what would be some decent PCI (or PCIe) AD converters suitable to give me the best out of the preamps?

So I just recently got myself a Korg padKONTROL and I'm looking to jump headfirst into using it with a DAW to experiment and make music. I virtually have no experience with any DAW aside from a very small bit with Ableton Live 8, which truthfully I'm not a fan of. I was curious if anyone could point me in another direction.

I have roughly $10,000 to spend on gear. I'm aiming for a setup that will connect with my firewire equipped Mac Book Pro. I'm looking to have a great setup for recording vocals/guitars/pretty much everything except drums. IE I don't need that many preamps, 2 at a minimum.

Can anyone recommend a studio in the greater Phoenix area?

Could anybody recommend a good preamp (tube or solid state) that would give me the capability to get nice saturation/distortion. I've got the bluetube, but the tube seems to have died. Turning up the tube drive doesn't affect the signal. I'm into a lot of 50s, 60s, 70s stuff. Want something that would give me some nice, warm distortion, if I want it.
