Okay guys, I need recommendations

So I'm going to be recording an album during the summer, and I've got two friends who are engineers willing to do the whole thing for free. The problem is, it'll be in a not so perfect environment, therefore a good mastering job is a must. I don't have a gagillion dollars to spend on it, I know this is going to sound terrible but I need an affordable yet good master.

Headphone and Mic Recommendations

Hello, I'm looking to buy a new set of headphones to be used primarily with my DAW. It's been recommended to me that I get professional headphones that are "pure tuned" or "flat" so that there is no biased judgment of the final mix's equalization. Is that pretty much a standard with today's headphone monitors? Does anyone have any recommendations, and why?

Mic recommendation for bass/baritone singer

My voice is a bit unusual given that it sounds higher pitched than it actually is. Similar to Garnet Roger's range but with higher overtones, a bit 'bellish' at times. I am trying to work my way through the myriad possibilities of mics for my home studio specifically for my vocals. For my acoustic guitar [Early Taylor 510] I use a 'stripped down' AKG 3000 [foam removed].

Looking for all-around Mic recommendations

Hi everyone.

I'm interested in purchasing a mic for home recording purposes that is good for a wide variety of things. I'm mostly recording Vocals, Small Percussion (shakers, tambourines, etc.), and Acoustic Guitar. Any recommendations? My budget is in the $200 range.

I've been using a Shure BG 2.1 that was a gift, but as my ears are learning I've noticed it sounds thin.

Preamp - any recommendations

Hi - I'm recording mostly acoustic and vocals - sort of Neil Young-ish songs. In the past I've just gone directly into my ProTool LE with a PPA LD-1. I'm looking to buy a decent preamp to warm up and fill out the signal. Don't want to spend much more than 200. Is this possible, any good places to start? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
thanks.
