Hey, all. I want to achieve a subtle echo for a vocal track to make it sound more professional... The quality will be applied to jazz vocals so an overkill "pop" studio echo wouldn't be appropriate. Just something to smooth out the sound and polish the track off. Could anyone help me with specific settings for my mixing program?

What do you think use two reverb when mixing? Is it a wrong way?
When i had recorded something include the room reverb,can i use reverb continue?

alright, so, i get the basic idea to this, but i'm having trouble implementing it. i'm using Cubase LE. i've read that i need to reverse the audio, apply the reverb, then, reverse it back to normal. now, how exactly do you "apply" the reverb to something that's already been recorded?

the keyboard player in my band plays mostly organ parts but his keyboard sounds terrible. Nothing like the 60s bands that we are trying to sound like. Then at practice i put him through my old Pro reverb which is like a twin and it sounded so good because of the breakup. I'm just using the 1/4 out from his keyboard to the amp and was wondering is this harmful to the keyboard or amp?

I need encouraging. I'm after the 'Shadows-guitar' type reverb effect. You know, sixties type of thing. Now I'm considering two different approaches: the better sounding is to record already effected guitar sound, I just love what a good old Voice combo does to a reverb/delay effect.

it's been years i'm looking for a good reverb for studio application only, the fact is there's not a lot of choice if you want something of quality.
but, 960l and 480 by Lexicon are too expensive for me, or maybe i should say i have spent too much money into recording stuff from the last 5 years.

I'm mixing a bunch of tunes that will support a live performance (a play). Most likely the performance will be in some sort of hall with tons of reverberant decay. I've never done anything like this before and I'm worried about making inaudable (or too wet) tracks.

I recently heard about a possibly interesting reverb device called "Quantec Yardstick 2492". This is obviously a completely new device (which might be the reason why I cannot find a lot of information about it).

My questions:

My genre is Rap/Crunk/Freestyle/R&B something like that. Some newschool stuff.
Currently using Adobe Audition 2.0 but thinking of Moving to Cubase SX because of better routing options. And because Audition is a CPU/RAM hog.
