HDSP 9652 offers 3 x ADAT optical I/O, ADAT-Sync In, SPDIF I/O and word clock I/O. On top, there are 2 MIDI I/Os and TotalMix, a DSP-based real-time mixer/router, with hardware-calculated level metering and complete MIDI remote capability.

Hi, beside the preamp presence on the Fireface, talking just about conversion and general use, what would you suggest between these two combinations ( on a pc) ?
1)Hdsp 9652 + Adi 8 ds
or
2)Fireface 800
?

RME DIGI9636 vs. . HDSP9652 vs. . others?
Hello. I just got my Fostex D2424LV sold, and will now put up a PC-based recording system. What I was planning to do is go with ADA8000 to an ADAT PCI soundcard, and expand with another ADA8000 or later switch to FireWire pre's.

RME HDSP9652...great card for PC and CHEAP!
man this thing does everything I needed...with the ADAT i/o's
and midi...all the reviews I have read say these are the best audio interfaces for PC recording...if anyone is interested and needs one I got a killer price on mine and can get u one...

hdsp 9652 issue
ok i have hdsp 9652 and Behringer 's ultramatch src 2496. Before formatting the HD i had no problem. After the format and installing windows xp i have a problem. When i choose the clock from hdsp i have no signal (no sync ). When i choose the clock from src2496 i have sync but no output (no sound at all).
