Description
CMT 30/40/50 series

Microphones of this second transistorized generation offered six types of capsule (MKT 2, 4, 40, 41, 5 and 6) and were available for 12-Volt phantom powering (CMT 30), 12-Volt parallel powering (CMT 40) and 48-Volt phantom powering (CMT 50). The 12-Volt CMT microphones were superseded by the Colette series in 1974, but because of its extremely low current consumption, the CMT 50 series continued to be offered through 1982.

Schoeps CMT-34

I recently came across a Schoeps CMT34 microphone. I was wondering what I can find out about it... History, construction, etc... About all I know is this particular mic was about 25-30 years old and is powered by 12 volt phantom (not T-power).

Anything else? How does it fit into the schoeps line as far as sound, lineage, etc.

Thanks!
