Creative Soundblaster Extigy users wanted
Hi everyone,
I am thinking of buying a used Creative Soundblaster Extigy external (USB) soundcard, for my dual core system.
I have read somewhere that the best soundcard solution is the Firewire one, then the PCI versions and the last solution you should go for is the USB version of a soundcard.
But that was in the time of good old USB 1.0 and 1.1.

emu 1212/ soundblaster 2 zs
I read some of your advice & found it very helpful.
I just got a dell 8400 loaded. I got the non intigrated soundblaster card for output only.
I bought the emu for all recording. They are having problems and I am very frustrated. Can I pull the sound balster & use the emu alone for everything. I have the 5.1 sound speakers as well.

soundblaster audigy platnum?
I have a question for the techs out there... I haven't been able to find anything on this. Will the soundblaster audigy platnum work in a mac system? because it was in my PC and I bought a few of the M audio delta 1010's. I'm selling this one and wanted to know if it would work with MAC? thanx

Line-in hiss with SoundBlaster AWE64
I've begun to experience hiss when recording through the line-in with my SB AWE64. Is there any way I can prevent this hiss?
I go headphone-out from my minidisc recorder, through a preamp, into the sound card's line-in. When I just play the minidisc audio through the sound card's line-in, the sound is excellent, with minimal or zero hiss.

Make 2 inputs in Soundblaster?
I have a soundblaster meaning i only have 1 input. I was wondering if i can plug 2 mics in a normal sound system amplifier (one L and one R) and then send the stereo signal in my soundblaster to get a stereo recording of let's say drums? anyone knows if that would work.
