Description
The Ghost console comes in 16, 24 and 32 channel frames, all expandable via a 24-channel module. Signal level indication is standard on each channel, plus there's an optional meter-bridge with 12-segment channel meters and 20-segment left/right master meters for the precise metering.

Ghost vs. . Mackie 8 bus

May sound like a silly question, but I've used both these boards but not together so it's hard to judge. Obviously the eq was far superior on the Ghost. But just sound quality in the line inputs (I won't use either preamps) minus eq does the Ghost sound better? Why does it? It's easy to say just because one is a Mackie and the other is a Soundcraft but why is it better?

Soundcraft Ghost

I have been hereing very good things about the Ghost! I had made a mistake with purchaseing a Mackie 32 channel VLZ, but I am returning it for a full refund.

I would consider getting one used (this is the 24 channel)

Since I have great mic preamps, I am not too concerned with the on board pre, but can anyone tell me how the Ghosts are?

Thanks,

x
