Suggestions to all RO moderators, Start you own workshops!

I ve been been browsing for almost a whole week non stop and all the forums you have here related to Recording and studio setup, etc. You guys are so good in explaining everything down to the last bolt and screw. You never find a question too dumb, or too basic, (maybe too vague or general).

Good 24 track mixer suggestions

I'm looking for a decent analog 24 track mixer to hook to my MOTU 24io. I'm using it in conjunction with Cubase sx to do small projects, but I'd like the ability to use all 24 tracks eventually. I've heard Tascam makes a good 24 track board (m2600, m3500, m3700?), and I know the 24 track Soundcraft Ghost is pretty nice. I wanted to try to keep it below $2000, though.

Some suggestions on what to get to add to my studio

Hello I have recently got very intrested into recording my band and my own projects so i bought a few things to start myself out. I have been recording for a while now and i just wanted to know what essentials i would need to have a decent recording studio.

I need to buy items that are cheap and productive for I am on a very low budget.

Getting Started Help/Suggestions Please

I'm obviously fairly new to the world of recording and before i start throwing money away i thought i would post to see if anyone, especially veterans, would have anything to say. To give you some background I'm 17 and in my senior year of high school and i have been interested in music production and studio recording for about 4 or 5 years now.

Mixer suggestions.

Hi folks. Quick question: I'm looking for a inexpensive 24-track analog mixer (please don't say Behringer , phonic, samson or anything else in that department). I have a 32-track Soundcraft Ghost in my "project studio," but I'd like another mixer for my home studio. I'm going to use it mainly to mix...all the recording will be done with rack gear that I already own.
