I am being told on another forum that you can get cheaper systems than BOSE which sounds just as good, can anyone mention any brand and model which can compare to Bose please?

I'm looking to buy some new monitors to replace my current setup. Currently I have the KRK5 Rockets and the Event 5's. I was looking at the JBL LSR 1428 speakers and at the moment I love them and they seem like they sound reliable. The price is a bit steep though ($1400 for pair) which got me wondering about when I want to expand to surround sound.

Is the any way to use the Realtek ALC850 on Nuendo for 5.1?
If not, what sound card do you recommend?

hi, i don't even own Cubase yet, but i've been reading through the manual. i'm at the automation subtracks section, and it doesn't show the option for surround panning parameters. what's up with that? does this mean i can't use surround panning for midi at all, or just in automation? are there any ways around this?

Hello All, I have a small problem: I work for this television show in El Salvador and we go on the air in about 4 weeks. The producers want to screen the pilot episode at a small theater nearby. And when i mean thater i dont mean cinema, you have to bring your own sound to this theater!

I've got an upcoming Orcestral concert to record and I have a chance to experiment a bit with surround recording. Having very little xperience with this other than having listened to a bunch of surround DVDs with classical music, always feeling ripped of because the mix sounded unnatural and nothing like a "live concert experience".. (I'm expecting my first won't either..)

Is there any thing in sound forge to command some sound to come from behind
