So basically since i purchased this mic (in shipping) it's had me thinking about my signal chain and if
my other components will hold back quality? Signal chain right now is Shure KSM27 mic,Custom made XLR
with starquad sheilded cable with neutric XLR connectors,into MOTU 828mk2 then recorded into Logic Pro 8.0.2

Just installed my mbox2 (which i only bought to enhance my job security as i use SADiE for tv work and Logic for music) and i am not impressed. Man every page on digi's site is an essay with very small writing, with a million hyperlinks...

The new Waveburner 1.2 update for OS X has arrived... build #103.

Comes with the Logic 7.2 upgrade package only, IIRC.

It's up and running on OS X 10.4.5 on our G5.

They've added "Write As Session" for enhanced CD-R masters.

Seems to be working very well. 8-)

well they just came out with a new version that works on tiger for LE systems as well. is it possible to get it if I'm running 6.4 and it says its for 6.9/ i once downloaded the EQ3 that was said to be for 6.9 but ran fine on 6.4!

Steinberg has just released version 1.05 of Cubase SX, but it looks like a pretty minor upgrade to me...(but then again, I was not the one writing code to remove bugs!) :)

Steinberg has released the latest Cubase SX update, 1.03 which fixes some serious bugs (mainly audio dropout and Midi timing issues), but also adds support for the new Mackie Control board (a clone of the Logic Control also made by Mackie).

Universal Audio has posted new drivers for the UAD-1 card. Version 2.0 (actually 2.01) of the drivers (dated March 2, 2002) are now available. (Nigel guitar amp sI'm nor the Pultec EQ are released yet, but promised soon)
