Digidesign DB25 wiring. help please?
I really need to find a schematic that explains wiring a db25 to xlr, I cant quite figure it out and theres no "standard" that relates the db25 to microphone connections, I'm having a hard time understanding the concept for the most part because there are 25 pins, how is this possible when a db25 digisnake terminates to 8 xlr? is one pin just not connected?

Studio wiring insert/return issue?
This is my first post - so hello to everybody!
I have a problem with one of my studios and wondered whether anybody would be able to shed some light on my issue! We have a problem with fairly drastic gain output drop when we patch any outboard equipment through the insert/return points on the patchbay.

New studio- electrical wiring
I recently had the luck of buying a new home that also had a separate building that was a recording studio 2 owners ago. the last owner used it as a storage area so I am slowly transforming it back.

Wiring semi-massive keyboard room
I've got a friend who has all sorts of synths. Some with keys, some just rack versions. Some mono, some stereo, some with multiple outputs and even others with inputs. I think the final count of total possible audio outputs was somewhere in the 60 channel range. But that includes a couple samplers with 8 outputs each and some devices where the additional outputs would probably not be used.
